Mrs. James Reid Lambdin (Mary O'Hara Cochran)

Mary O’Hara Cochran (born 1810) and James Reid Lambdin were married in 1828, and between 1830 and 1850 had ten children. During the nineteenth century, young children were especially at risk from cholera, smallpox, measles, and diseases linked to poor sanitation. Families often had many children, to increase the chance of some of them surviving to adolescence
