George Cochran Lambdin
George Lambdin (1830-1896) was James Reid Lambdin’s son, and a very successful portrait, genre, and flower painter. He often painted the flowers from his own garden, and became famous for his “Lambdin roses.” This miniature was exhibited in 1911 at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts tenth annual Pennsylvania Society of Miniature Painters show
